  1. Jake says:

So… is this the Dungeon World playthrough that almost tore Fandible apart, or did you go back and revisit the setting for a second impression?

  2. Syren says:

If the former you should also include the Planescape argument that almost tore fandible apart.

  3. Jake says:

Not that Fandible will ever end. They will be roleplaying forever, until they stop.

  4. Syren says:

Has me considering a portion of the Dark Eldar section of my Rogue Trader game having a collection of three men and a woman attached by the skull to a fourth and being forced to write an ongoing adventure of a captain with fancy pants.

  5. Arvandus says:

This is that play-through. Finally decided to upload the thing. Its overall a good game to listen to, but at some points you can start to hear our frustration.

  6. Barsha Da Barsha says:

I think this is the beginning of ‘Let me die so I can roll a bard’. Or did that come before?

  7. Angela says:

This HAS to be the beginning of ‘Let me die so I can roll a bard.’ It’s the first game we’ve played that has a bard class!

The “Planescape argument that almost tore fandible apart” is just the sound of me pouring drink after drink while periodically shouting “Bullshit!” It’s probably the second drunkest I’ve been around Fandible.

  8. Syren says:

    I second my recommendation.

  9. FandibleDave says:

I can confirm that this is in fact the origin story of the phenomenon I like to call “Bard knock life”, where a player’s desire to continue their character’s story vanishes and is replace with a desire to play a bard.

The discussion about Planescape was members of Fandible trolling other members of Fandible. I think Daniel and Jesus were trying to give Angela high blood pressure and a shattered liver in one fell swoop.

  10. Jake says:

I think this is a story that should be told in a Fandigame. Unlock exciting dialogue options to cause Angela to drink herself into oblivion. Can you accomplish the legendary SPEED RUN and have her pass out before Jesus finishes his introduction?

  11. Lucek says:

I won’t exactly be happy to see God machine go but I’m glad it’s not looking like it’ll over stay it’s welcome.

Sense my last comment on DW I’ve experienced other people playing it and did some more reading and well it’ll be nice to see your take and your experiences to on it.

  12. Well, Lucek, while this particular God Machine Chronicles arc will end, this is not going to be the end of the God Machine. There’s going to be a short break while we shift gears to a more ‘secret Agents and conspiracies’ type of vibe with Night’s Black Agents, and then the God Machine will make its return with the next long-term game I’ll be running, Demon: the Descent, which takes place in the God Machine universe and features it’s machinations and Angels heavily. So worry not! The God Machine’s gears turn on and on, and the Fandible crew will face them once again. 😀

  13. Syren says:

I’ve been really getting into the Gumshoe system recently and I look forward to see you guys delving more into it, particularly in the vein of Night’s Black Agents.

Also interesting to imagine you crossing over from the Mortal-land. Power shifts are always an interesting thing in the White Wolf universe, especially now that all the books were made more intrinsically balanced. Should be cool to see.

  14. Thelastarchitect says:

SUPERNATURAL PLAYER CHARACTERS NEW WORLD OF DARKNESS!

    YESSSSSSSSSS!

I may have been waiting on this… for a while…

As in since I started listening to fandible…

Also Demon the Descent rocks, my current second favourite nWoD sub-setting, just after Mage the Awakening which actually melds surprisingly well with Demons actually.

  15. Barsha Da Barsha says:

    Psssh. Supernatural characters.

    Booo! Hisss! Boooooooooooo!

(Actually looking forward to playing Demon! I loved the original Demon [When players weren’t being awful and mustache-twirling buttheads] so this should be fun to play since I’m with the fandible crew trying it out)
