This is a really cool opening song.
Are the SCP agents going to keep their flawless record ?
We shall see, perhaps more puppies will be involved ?
Cool story, when can we get more ?
Yet I wonder what was that paintcan-amoeba-thing about ?
Loved the story, high fives all around. Never really got into SCP before but I did a deep dive on Keter Class today before I got the podcast and you might have given Meyer another internet vice. Dam, any chance you can but a list of all SCPs you mentioned in this game, along with maybe some of Fandible’s favorites? There are close 3K entry’s at time of comment, and I love and archive binge as much as the next guy, but damn. Lastly, the SCP that you all more likly to run into?
It’s right behind.
I loved the episode but kind of disappointed the doomsday cake didn’t show up again.
I assume the doomsday cake is SCP-871 “self replicating cake”. There is nothing special about the various tastes, its the self replicating part that is a potential doomsday issue.
Unless of course there is another world ending cake SCP I’m not aware of.
Scp of rules.
One rule to find them, one rule to bind them, one rule to doom them all.
A mind trap where you have to find, apply and interpret that one key rule that seems so basic yet has no existence within the rulebook.
More SCP please!
The microphone/recording equipment is a semi-inteligent SCP that selectively warps probability within the vicinity. Explains both the David Dice phenomenon, as well as the “99 Problems” Warhammer Only War game, both of which are classified as derived SCPs.
Damn! Please oh please decide to play more. It’s right up there with Dan’s GMC and the Billy-verse for me, and scratches my long-nursed nWOD itch again. Good stuff!
Just awesome. Would love to get more SCP-related scenarios.
I have to know, was the Lizard always a Basset Hound or did Dan have that idea when someone started probing the possibility.
A little bit of both- I’d originally planned to have the Lizard make a cameo, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of the Basset Hound fooling the PC’s, so went with that in the end. Plus, while the Big Bad is pretty badass, having it be able to steal the Lizard might have been a bit too much for even it to chew on at first. It might still make an appearance in a future game tho!
This was awesome. More please. Good to see Billy continuing his talent for taking a bunch of established items/offhand comments and constructing a piece of beautiful insanity to solve the situation.
It probably couldn’t be used as the main threat of a session (unless Dan gets really creative), but if this game continues I’d love to see an appearance from SCP-426 “I am a toaster”
Just remember that, if you’re looking for things for Angela to shoot, just remember that the Foundation has plenty of enemies that are perfectly human and don’t react well to a .556 to the face.
Any chance we can get a printed list of the all the SCPs usd in this game?
would like to here more of this.
Edisons Mindwyrm:
Its a sound fragment; the maddening snatch of song you can neither place nor forget. It travels from person to person and can hibernate in recordings. It can subtlety influence the mind and infect you just by hearing it. Its trying to grow stronger by eating parts of peoples minds and reabsorbing the other fragments. No one knows how old it is or where it comes from or how many fragments of the mindwyrm are out their or what will happen when it reunifies but odds are it wont be pretty.
