Hey, This series is how I found your network, I’ve been a fan since the beginning and it’s always fun listening to the bachelor’s drunkenly stumble through various apocalypses. I even plan to incorporate your house rule for the push mechanic assuming I can ever get anyone to actually play something that isn’t D&D (grumble grumble).
Back on topic, and sorry for spoilers but I don’t really know where to ask this, but was there a mechanical reason that Jerry fell out of the van? In the edit it kind of came across as fiat, he didn’t even get a roll. (It’s Jerry, I doubt he would have succeeded, but still).
Anyway, thanks for all you guys do, Fandible has been a great addition to my podcast set.
I *think* that was requested off screen by the character. It’s been awhile though. If someone wants to be eaten by a giant octopus or devoured by the nano-machine wave – then Angela will make it happen.
It was either player request, OR we were just running out of time and Dan agreed Jerry wouldn’t pass. So there was still player agency either way! The discussion was just cut – but maybe if/when this comes up again we’ll try to keep that in to maintain it was a choice with the player input.
