Well, you stepped in it now, Castian.
So anyway, I had a question for Angela. I’ve been listening to other Star Wars podcasts and what I’ve noticed is that GM’s gleefully dole out consequences for each threat rolled by the players. By I’ve noticed that sometimes we never find out what you decided to do with threats, if anything. Do you just write them off or edit them out because you decided that it wasn’t important enough to keep in the podcast?
A little of both, honestly. If it’s one threat or two, mostly I just take a strain damage or it’s a step up in difficulty the next time. If I had previously gotten a threat, and then I get the same number of threats, sometimes Angela will just point and I just take the same strain damage as I did last time. But yeah, sometimes, these minor threats are just edited out because they mess up the pacing. I’ve tried to keep them in more this season but sometimes I need to kick them to the curb because we mumble or lean away from the mic to discuss an appropriate threat consequence.
