I have loved this series, while not everyone got a “happy ending”, they did get a “proper ending”. 2 things: Moria sees your patented *Byron Big Speech* and guts it like a fish. Also, Doctor is so likable that you forget he’s really quite amoral, so it can be jarring when you see it.
Answers to Jesus:
– Pretty much all of the Faye Court, with high points to (though everyone rocked): “IT’S FOUR! itsfouritsfouritsfouritsfouritsfouritsfour” and “summon your prize…*bleat*”
– New York or Dublin, but with a fresh roster. I love these characters, but new Unhallowed Metroplis should have new blood. For New York: Y’all are very familiar with it plus it’s its big enough and dense enough that a new crew could live full, rich, and exciting lives and never know who Marcus O’Carroll even is (no need for too many call back this isn’t the End of the World 😛 ). For Dublin: Close enough to London to see the smoke from the fire that this campaign lit, but far enough to be distracted by it; plus it is a way to focus how the Animate Issue has beat on the poor.
PS: love the Unhallowed page as has links to more of y’alls stuff, but can we link Angela’s bit on Moria’s Diary, and David’s amazing write up on Ghost Fleet of Dublin? (the refugee ships still on the water/under the waves)
PSS: I’m working on putting a game together for friends, fully intend to have a Electro-Kinetic obsessed with Galvanic’s, who thinks the ghost of Telsa speaks to him…he’s y’alls if you need a spare nut 😛
Next campaign should definitely be in New York, mostly because I want to know how the US handled the apocalypse.
Well, anyway, I can’t really believe this is it. But, like life, you’re going along, doing your thing, and suddenly it just stops.
So I tried to post before, don’t know what happened.
First of I wanted to say thank you for this story, this journy, these characters that are so real they feel like friends. Thank you for this conclusion that just feels right. This episode felt like the last book in a favorite series (you readers will understand the height of that compliment). The way each of your characters acted was a perfect pinnacle of the arcs of their characters and growths. I will miss them: Byron, Moyra, Marcus and the Doctor.
Now I cant relisten though, with this ending… Too emotional.
Thank you.
-Favorite scenes: When Byron tricked the Fae Prince. I actually yelled, it was great. Also, the first scene where Moyra fought another Mourner. It actually showed so much of her and showed off how much of a brutal skilled killer she was.
-spin off, to not choose one from before. I’ll havr to choose the village that was saved from the psychic girl. Lost of politics and intrigue able to bubble up there.
–
Oh boy… here we are… What an heart-wrenching finale. So sad it’s over but at the same time glad we got to see closure for these tormented characters. The growth of each one was great to witness and experience with you guys.
Angela made me choke up a bit at work.
Thank you for the journey.
– Favorite scenes: The Trial, Open heart surgery, the Zeppelin were amazing.
– Spin off: Time jump of few years, set in New York with new characters, maybe related to Clayton’s family, ready to establish a foothold in America, with the shadow of Marcus in the background.
I am struggling to find the right words, so I’ll just say…
Thank you all. Conquer with love.
My Gosh, what a roller-coaster of emotion the last two episodes were. The Byron speech with the little girl Ada, then Angela’s Moira speech. Just wow, talk about ripping your heart out.
The talent that you all have, it is awe inspiring.
Thank you for the story
New Your would be interesting, especially if it has chosen a different time to emulate (instead of steampunk Victorian, steempunk “Roaring 20s”)
