magical ;; this has to becomes a regular thing!
*whistles* Have not fully finished the game but boy comparing our Shadowrunning teams is really amusing me. I mean we are complete monsters in very different fashions, like how we sell people we don’t like to organleggers. Alive(more money that way). Or how we once plugged a guy into a BTL implant rig and set him on fire using white phos for the Yakuza(later our Johnson had to gut himself for dishonor, Yak’s don’t dig that kind of murder). List goes on, but it is hilarious simply because at least my character(probably the darkest member) is avidly ghoul(and most other metavariant) rights. As a shadowdoc who can make human flesh on a whim with clone vats for cheap, can augment the log stat without much thought, and has a severe transhuman vibe(and dates a born ghoul, non infectious) this kind of atrocity would hit him right in the gut region, especially Billy’s character who actually hunts them for a bounty. Oh ho ho, the terrible things that Dr. Frankenstein(Running name) would do to that poor Street Samurai.
Ghouls don’t have souls. They are the Gingers of the future.
I feel that these sessions are a kind of cathartic release for you by inflicting as much physical and emotional harm on Grannick as possible.
“Coward! Get back here!”
If they all knew the real Grannick they would learn he is a deep and emotionally complex character that deserves….nah, nevermind. He doesnt give a S*%@!!!
Upon reflection, it takes a special kind of person to take being abandoned by his friends/coworkers as he lay crippled on the pavement, crawl halfway across town, dispatch bloodthirsty ghouls while suffering severe internal damage, be attacked by a city spirit and have everyone accuse him of cowardice, fall from a great height a second time landing on a troll – arguably worse than landing on the ground, and then not hold a grudge (that we have seen) against anybody.
Apparently honey badger spirituality does have its advantages. It’s just survivability isn’t among them.
More tales from the tape.
Note A: Shiwase us pronounced She-wah-say.
Note B: Street Cred is positive rep, notoriety is negative rep. It reflects being shiftless no good backstabbers.
Note C: You guys should totally try out http://www.chummergen.com/ it is a character manager for 4e, aids in the learning process, helps track everything, and with Dan’s pdf-fu you can get an instant resource for just about everything.
Note D: Might be dickish but I totally wanted Grannick to go ghoul.
Note E: I will tie you to the medical bed and sell you for scraps you no-solid accent having pan-national lovebot. (In character 9f course, OOC that is pretty much the attitude of THE FUTURE)
… Ouch.
Frank has a charisma of two and does science. As with all prior iterations we have all played that means he is a strange, caustic, ass. And my god that is fun to play.
Meanwhile personal correction. I have apparently been saying, reading and writing Shiawase wrong for 8 years. In that case I think Dave got it halfway with She-ah-wah but ended with see instead of say. Can’t be that judgmental because again 8 YEARS.
